Dry-lining manufacturer Lafarge Plasterboard will appear on TV tonight alongside TV builder Tommy Walsh.

Lafarge Plasterboard appear on TV

Walsh is heading up a programme called Fix Your House for Free with reclamation expert Liam Collins. A keen recycler, Walsh is convinced that there is too much good material being thrown away.

Using materials from reclamation yards, and material that is non resaleable, Walsh and Collins are helping five families realise their dream building project, whether it be an extension, loft conversion or mezzanine bedroom, and by providing all of the materials for free they’ll help make these projects bigger and better than the families could ever have dreamt.

Both Lafarge Cement and Lafarge Plasterboard have supplied materials, which resulted in Walsh visiting Lafarge Bristol to see how plasterboard is manufactured and to learn more about the manufacturer’s recycling methods and services, the key topic for the show.

The series is being aired on the Discovery Realtime and Discovery Shed channels.
