Lighter and easier to work with than before, Knauf Denseshield has retained its impact and fire resistance.
Knauf Denseshield is now lighter to make it easier to work with for installers.
It is still designed to provide the same impact resistance as previously to keep it suited for use in busy areas such as stairwells and corridors.
The new formulation of the board is designed to be easy to screw through, with newly introduced Denseshield screws to make it easier still.
The 12.5mm now weighs 10.8kg/sqm and the 15mm weighs 12.8kg/sqm. It offers the same fire performance as Knauf Fireshield and above average acoustic performance in addition to it’s impact resistance.
It has a thermal conductivity figure of k=0.24W/mK. It complies fully with BS EN520 and is categorised as types A,D, F, I, R.
