Knauf Drywall takes to the road

Following the success of last year’s Beardtober, plaster and plasterboard manufacturer Knauf Drywall has set a new charity challenge

for 2012.

Knauf Drywall takes to the road

The Knauf Drywall Charity Bike Challenge takes place from June 22 to 25. The event is a challenging cycle ride from Knauf Drywall’s factory in Immingham, near Hull, to its headquarters in Sittingbourne, Kent: a grand total of 237 miles over four days in June.

This year’s charity is the Lord’s Taverners. The Lord’s Taverners recognises that sport and recreation are essential for young people and its mission is to give a ‘sporting chance’ to those in need.

The Knauf Drywall Charity Bike Challenge has 20 Knauf Drywall employees participating, ranging from seasoned semi-professional riders to those who haven’t been on a bike for years.
