Civils specialist Keyline headed off this morning (June 26) on its annual Keyline Rally, the charity car rally that is in its 10th year of raising money for Prostate Cancer UK, leading men’s health charity.
This year’s rally set off from the Keyline head office in Swan Valley, Northampton, on the 1,800 mile drive across Europe to Italy and back over the course of five days. The teams will finish their journey at Disneyland Paris. This year. the theme is Car-toons and participating employees and suppliers had source their own car which is at least 25 years old or costs £1,500 or less. The car must be decorated in cartoon themed décor and drivers have to be dressed in theme appropriate costumes. The rally will consist of 23 cars split into four cartoon named teams.
Tommy Walsh, celebrity supporter of Prostate Cancer UK said: “I have been supporting the Keyline Rally over the last few years and have been blown away by Keyline’s fundraising and commitment to Prostate Cancer UK. In the past ten years they have raised over £1 million on their adventures across Europe! It is a great way to bring staff and suppliers together to help stop prostate cancer from being a killer.”
Alongside other suppliers and customers are also Keyline employees who have been taking part in the Rally for the past ten years. Paul Beaman, Managing Director at Keyline, comments: “It is such an exciting milestone for everyone at Keyline, to be celebrating 10 years of hosting the rally and support for such a great cause. Everyone should be so proud of all of the funds raised and the awareness generated amongst men in the most susceptible age group. Our support even extends to our new dual branded Prostate Cancer UK truck spreading the message on the road. This rally is just one of the many ways that we show our continued support to Prostate Cancer UK and we’re all hoping that we raise the most money to date on this commemorative year!”

Thursday 27th June: St Dizierto Lucerne, Switzerland
Friday 28th June: Lucerne to Stelvio, Italy & back!
Saturday 29th June: Lucerne to Paris & Disneyland Paris
Sunday 30th June: Paris to Dover
