Kent Blaxill recruits new Norwich manager

The 45-year-old joins the East Anglian building supplies company from Dulux Decorators Centre in Norwich, where he worked for 16 years.

Poole will be in charge of a four man team at the Norwich store, which underwent a refit last year, and takes over from Michael Nicholls who is moving up to manage the company’s new Fakenham branch.

James Park, KB decorative manager, said: “Richard has a wealth of experience in the trade and a great working relationship with a lot of customers in the area and will strengthen our already excellent Norfolk team.”

Poole said: “The Norwich branch is a high turnover store but I will be looking to increase trade from my contacts in the business. I will also be looking to promote our designer paints section, which includes Farrow & Ball paints, to retail customers as well as continuing the great customer service that the established team here provide.

“I have been pleasantly surprised by how many members of the public already purchase Farrow & Ball from Kent Blaxill.”
