Craig Todd, manager of the Kirby branch, and Peter Last, showrooms manager at the Colchester head office branch received the certificates at a special ceremony.

To qualify they had to undergo an audit by trading standards. The Buy With Confidence scheme is a good trader scheme set up to help consumers find reputable local businesses. It is open to large and small businesses of all types wishing to establish good customer service throughout their business.

Last said: “We are delighted to have had the opportunity to join Essex County Councils trading standards Buy With Confidence scheme.”

Staff from other Kent Blaxill branches will be undergoing training to achieve the Fair Trading Award, which involves training staff about consumer rights and responsibilities.
