Independent builders merchant Kent Blaxill has appointed protective coatings specialist Dan Ruegg as it aims to take a big step forward in the decorative sector.
Ruegg, 35, will be aiming to build up sales of industrial and protective coatings for use on difficult surfaces including floors, steel and cladding. He will be available across the whole of East Anglia to draw up specifications.
He joins having had 14 years in the decorating industry and four years selling protective coatings.
“Dan will be operating through all our branches and will be available to go out on site to advise on customer requirements,” said Andy Whitney, sales manager. “He has strong links in the protective coatings industry.
The 35-year-old will also be training up a protective coatings champion in every Kent Blaxill branch.
“The appointment reflects the fact that Kent Blaxill is continuing to expand around its core businesses as well as opening new branches,” said Whitney.
Kent Blaxill will be opening its tenth East Anglian branch, in Fakenham, this spring.
