Kent Blaxill creates new jobs as it opens in Cambridge

Decorating and builders merchants Kent Blaxill are opening their new store at Kings Court, Kings Hedge Road in Cambridge on Thursday 17 May 2018.

The family firm has over 175 years’ experience in working with professional and DIY home markets and provides a wide range of quality decorating products. The team will mark the occasion with an official ribbon cutting at 12 noon.

The new branch will continue the Kent Blaxill tradition of supplying some of the industry’s finest names.  This includes an extensive range of paints and related products, with a strong focus on designer paints including Farrow & Ball, Little Greene, Paint and Paper Library, Mylands, Designers Guild, Fired Earth and Zoffany as well as trusted trade brands such as Dulux, Crown and Armstead. Professionals can also enjoy a daily decorative materials delivery service.

Simon Blaxill, Kent Blaxill’s managing director, says: “The Cambridge branch is another great location and we recognise the importance of Cambridge in our region. New Manager, David Jacobs added, “We are excited to be opening in Cambridge and creating 2 new full-time roles initially.  Kent Blaxill always look to employ the very best staff for every branch as our industry knowledge sets our service apart.

“Our products are aimed at the decorating professional, but we also want to attract a discerning retail customer who sources the very best products for their exquisite home. We recognise success hinges not only on the products we sell but also on the service we provide and the relationships we form locally.  Our staff have a superb understanding of today’s customer and offer expert advice on products and services, including ‘brush-out’ boards to help customers decide on the perfect colour”.
