Builders Merchants Journal – BMJ Publishing to Builders Merchants and the UK merchanting industry for more than 95 years
Independent, bristol-based builders merchant, Kellaway Building Supplies, has acquired Nailsea Builders Merchants in North Somerset.
The purchase, which was finalised on Monday (June 25th) brings the company’s branch total to nine, operating from Bristol, Gloucestershire, Wiltshire and Somerset.
The Nailsea business will be integrated into the company and will trade under the Kellaway Building Supplies brand.
Julian Milligan, Managing Director, said “This acquisition is a further step in Kellaway’s strategy of continuing development and growth. We welcome the existing staff to the company and look forward to their support in expanding the business.”
Operating principally from the West End Trading Estate in Nailsea, the company sells a full range of general building supplies to both trade and DIY customers.
