The UK’s biggest builders’ merchant show, which is free to attend, will return to the National Exhibition Centre in Birmingham on Thursday 13th December.
Speakers at the event include footballer turned sports pundit Chris Kamara, the Jewson Building Better Communities Trade Hero for 2017, Addam Smith, and representatives from Mates in Mind.
While Addam will be updating show visitors on the latest news from the Band of Builders, Clive Johnson will be explaining how Mates in Mind is working to help support positive mental wellbeing in the UK construction industry.
Those looking to brush up on their cooking skills will have the chance to learn a thing or two from celebrity chef, Peter Sidwell, who will be cooking up his top post-site dinners in a live demonstration.
On The Tools will be testing the nation’s trade knowledge with a quiz in the shows first ‘pub’, The Builders Arms, and talkSPORT’s Alan Brazil will also be at the show hosting a debate on all things sport.
Over 180 exhibitors will be at the show, offering on-stand giveaways and exclusive on the day deals. Attendees are invited to see the latest industry products in action in the demo zone, and visit the business advice centre for tips on everything from handling your accounts to company insurance.
Customers can also pick up the latest print edition of the BOB magazine at the show.
Speaking about the show, Thierry Dufour, Managing Director at Jewson, noted: “Jewson Live is the go-to event for those working in the construction industry. Year on year, we up the ante to make sure it’s a show that everyone can make the most of, whether you want to learn more about the latest products or enjoy our speakers and entertainment.”
“As always at Jewson Live, there will be some amazing prizes on offer including a JCB digger, a weekend in Munich for Oktoberfest and a trip to the white isle of Ibiza. Jewson Live 2018 is absolutely one to make room in your diary for.”
