Home heating and hot water specialist Joule UK is giving installers the chance to win two tickets to The Open golf championship, which is being held at the Royal Portrush Golf Club in Northern Ireland in July 2019. Installers purchasing an InvaHeat underfloor heating system between April 1 and June 30 2019 can enter a prize draw* to win two tickets for the weekend final of The Open, including three nights’ half board hotel accommodation and return transfers from the hotel to Royal Portrush.

The prestigious Open, which began in 1860, is one of four major professional golf championships. This year’s event – the 148th Open – is taking place between July 14-21 at Royal Portrush in County Antrim, Northern Ireland. The golf club is said to be home to one of the best and most challenging links golf courses in the world, providing a tough test for players.

Joule is offering installers the chance to win two tickets for the final two days of the tournament – Saturday July 20 and Sunday July 21 – when the winner of The Open will be presented with the Golf Champion Trophy, known as The Claret Jug. In addition to the tickets, JouUFH 1le’s prize includes three nights’ accommodation at the Ballyrobin Country Lodge hotel between July 19-22, including breakfast and dinner, as well as return transfers from the hotel to Royal Portrush each day.

Installers can enter the competition when they buy a Joule InvaHeat underfloor heating system. Purchases need to be made between April 1 and June 30 2019, and the entry deadline is July 2 2019. Further details and an entry form can be found at www.jouleuk.co.uk/promotions/.

Underfloor heating warms a room through a balanced, steady supply of radiant heat, which is more comfortable than heating a room by air alone, as a traditional radiator does. Underfloor heating systems use low temperature water, which increases efficiency and reduces running costs, and makes them an ideal match for renewable energy heat sources, such as heat pumps, although they are also compatible with boilers.

Joule supplies a wide range of InvaHeat underfloor heating systems for suspended, solid screed and floating floors, which are manufactured to high standards using the latest technologies and are simple to install and use. There is a variety of control options, whether a system is wired, wireless or networked, and a touchscreen thermostaUFH 2t ensures the temperature can be easily altered, helping to increase comfort and save energy. Joule offers a planning, design and technical support service, including detailed CAD drawings and assistance with heat output calculations.

David Klages, managing director at Joule, said: “At Joule, we are committed to rewarding our loyal installers, who have helped us to increase our market share and lead the way in underfloor heating, unvented hot water, renewables and ventilation systems. Underfloor heating is becoming more popular; in fact, we’ve noticed a year-on-year increase in demand, mainly because of the need for more efficient homes and heating systems that operate at low temperatures. Underfloor heating also provides many practical benefits, including a more comfortable environment and the flexibility to design an internal layout without having to consider the physical presence of radiators.

“We wanted to say thank you to our underfloor heating customers by giving them the chance to go to The Open, a prestigious and iconic golfing event where the world’s greatest golf players compete to become Champion Golfer.”

Joule offers complete home heating and hot water solutions, including air source heat pumps, underfloor heating, radiators, MVHR systems and hot water cylinders. For further information, please visit https://www.jouleuk.co.uk/.
