John A Stephens signs up with Green Energy Centre

Nottingham independent builders merchant John A Stephens Ltd, has taken up a green energy centre franchise.
Managing director Peter Stephens said: “We are all extremely excited about working with the green energy centre franchise. We have already ventured into the renewable market with solar installations to our head office premises. The ever increasing number of incentives, Renewable Heat Incentive, Feed in Tariffs and the soon to be released “Green Deal” are all covered by the Unimer backed green energy centre.”

As an independent merchant John A Stephens has seen that to compete with national brands such as B&Q, Energy companies, Tesco’s, Sainsbury’s it needs to be in partnership with those that can provide the resources to keep them up to date.

Stephens said, “We need to get involved and the time is right to make the commitment now. We firmly believe that independent merchants will play a vital part in the low carbon future.”

Lorcan Anglin, managing director of Green Energy Centre Limited said: “We are delighted to be working with Peter and his team. Merchants who ignore the huge opportunity presented by low carbon future will ultimately lose sales.”
