Jewson celebrates the success of their fifth annual ‘Tour de Jewson’ charity bike ride.

To welcome the riders in on their last leg, a celebratory afternoon was held where employees were invited to enjoy a barbecue and refreshments.
Cyclists from across the UK took to the roads on September12th to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support. So far they have raised more than £16,000, enough to fund a Macmillan nurse for a year, and provide essential care for those affected by cancer.
Paul Edwards, Jewson director of sales, said: “We’ve been hosting the Tour de Jewson event for five years now, and this year was the biggest yet with over 140 riders donning their lycra to raise money for Macmillan.
“A big thank you to all of the riders who took part this year, and all of the suppliers and customers who donated and supported us.”
