Builders merchant Jewson has agreed a deal to become the main shirt sponsor of newly-formed football club Hereford FC.
The deal is initially for one season, with Jewson having an option to extend the contract as the club’s first Midland Football League campaign progresses.
The club was formed after Hereford United was wound up in December 2014. The winding-up petition was brought by HM Revenue and Customs, which is thought to be owed £116,000.
Replica shirts should be available for supporters to buy “within a couple of weeks”.
