Jewson to push merchant role at Ecobuild

Builders merchants Jewson will be promoting the role of the merchant at Ecobuild next month when their supply chain director appears in the exhibition’s seminar programme.
Naithan Keeping, will deliver a presentation called ‘The Role of the Merchant in Delivering Cost Savings’ as part of the Ecobuild seminar on saving costs with slicker supply chains on Tuesday March 3. The presentation will cover improving communication throughout the supply chain, providing a consultative role across all projects, as well as how to develop stakeholder engagement.

Keeping says: “The construction industry is facing one of the most challenging periods it has ever experienced. Cost savings have never been so important and working together is a crucial factor in meeting key business objectives, optimising performance and taking advantage of market opportunities. Making the supply chain work more efficiently will generate tangible cost savings and may even enhance working relationships, which is why this seminar will be of interest to those looking to maximise their outputs whilst saving money.”

Ecobuild takes place at Earl’s Court in London from March 3-5 and features 800 suppliers of sustainable construction products and services as well as more than 100 free conference and seminar sessions and a dozen interactive attractions.
