Jewson take Greenworks to Buildstore show

Builders merchant group Jewson is taking its sustainability offering – Greenworks – to Buildstore’s Big Green Home Show.
The exhibition, which is the only eco-show aimed exclusively at self builders and renovators, takes place from tomorrow until Sunday at The National Self Build & Renovation Centre in Swindon.

Greenworks will take part in the Build Live section, demonstrating four alternative sustainable wall and floor constructions.

Jewson marketing services director Lindsey Walker says: “The Big Green Home Show provides the ideal opportunity for existing and prospective self builders, as well as those undertaking a refurbishment project, to explore the latest products on the market. It also enables us to show how, through Greenworks, we can provide sustainable solutions to meet every stage of the construction process.”

The Greenworks live stand will be supported by Jewson, which now has a permanent presence at The National Self Build & Renovation Centre.

Walker continues: “The National Self Build & Renovation Centre provides a comprehensive window into the building materials currently used throughout the self build process. The Jewson stand aims to make the connection between the products showcased and their respective costs so that each visitor can build a picture of what can be achieved with the budget they have.”

Tim Doherty of the National Self Build & Renovation Centre adds: “The Big Green Home Show will help visitors to decide which products and methods best meet their needs and how to complement these with lifestyle changes to create a truly ‘greener’ way of life. Our expert speakers, building and product demonstrations, and presentations, coupled with the Centre’s permanent educational exhibits and features, means that the Big Green Home Show can provide all the answers to unearth the real story on sustainable housebuilding and living.”
