Jewson tackle rugby premiership

Jewson has signed a three-year agreement to become Gloucester Rugby’s main sponsor in what is the biggest sponsorship deal in the club’s history.

The move, says the company, marks “the latest step in its strategic alignment with elite sports”. And, as the team’s new shirt-front sponsor, Jewson hopes to accompany the team to victory.

Jewson is currently working with the club to further develop the Kingsholm ground by supplying building materials for the construction of the new south stand. It will be ready in time for the first game of the season and will raise the capacity to more than 16,000.

Gloucester’s managing director, Ken Nottage said of the deal “Jewson is a hugely successful company and we’re thrilled that it has chosen to partner with Gloucester Rugby to spearhead its association with elite sport. The scale and magnitude of this sponsorship agreement reflects where we want to be and we’re all looking forward to a fruitful partnership together.”

Jewson sales and marketing director Tony Newman added: “Gloucester’s determination and success mirrors many of the qualities that Jewson requires to be a market leader, making this a natural partnership. We are looking forward to assisting Gloucester and sharing in the team’s success in what promises to be a fantastic season for the club.”
