Jewson supplies new eco-development

Pennsylvannia Heights on the Isle of Portland, near Weymouth, is being built to the Passivhaus Standard using a range of materials from Jewson including bricks, blocks, plasterboard and, crucially, Chain of Custody timber and sheet products.

The energy efficient development is being built by Lomand Homes using exceptional high levels of insulation, low heating requirements and Bio-Mass systems fuelled by wood from local sustainable sources.

John Green, Branch Manager at Jewson Weymouth said: “The Pennsylvania Heights development is extremely impressive and our branch team has even been to site to see construction underway. We are absolutely delighted to be supplying such a landmark project with our range of Chain of Custody approved timber.”
