Jewson puts its best foot forward for Macmillan

The 24-strong team walked the 26.2 mile route, helping to raise over £6,000 for the charity.

David Hill, Jewson event organiser, said: “Macmillan’s support is absolutely vital to those with cancer and their families, so we were more than happy to put on our walking shoes and put up with a few blisters for such a great cause.”

The money raised by the contractor sales team will be used to fund Macmillan nurses.

In addition, Jewson’s parent company, Saint-Gobain, is supporting Macmillan Cancer Support as part of a two-year partnership that started in 2014.

During the campaign, Saint-Gobain has helped the charity engage with hard to reach groups on issues including male cancer and sun awareness.
