Jewson partner up with NFU farmers

Builders merchant chain Jewson has set up a partnership with the National Farmers Union which offers savings on building materials and timber to their members.

An exclusive price list of the 700 items most regularly purchased by NFU members has been negotiated for all Farmer and Grower, Countryside and Professional members and will be launched at the NFU Conference in Birmingham next week.

Price reductions range from 20% to 80% depending on the item, but members will also be entitled to discounts on tool hire and other building materials not on the list.

The NFU’s head of membership Huw Hilditch Roberts said: “We recognise that our members need to invest and develop now to secure a sustainable future for farming and this exclusive partnership with Jewson offers huge savings at the UK’s leading building suppliers.

“We’re pleased to be in a position to support one of the UK’s most prominent industries,” said Jewson sales and operations director Neil Lawrence. “In these current times where adding value is crucial, it’s important that we pull together and form partnerships that can really make a difference.”
