Jewson in social repairs deal

Builders merchant Jewson has signed a deal with Lancashire social housing provider Hyndburn.
The partnership sees Jewson operating a stores depot at its Hyndburn Homes’ Altham headquarters and the housing provider says this will mean an improved repairs service for clients.

Previously it operated its own in-house stores system.

David Cross, operations manager, said: “Thanks to the buying power of Jewson we will now be able to stock more products, buy them in more cost effectively and have access to a wider range of products.”
