Jewson bags contract with Pinewood and Shepperton studios

Builders merchant Jewson has secured a deal to supply Pinewood and Shepperton Studios with a range of building materials to service the Studios’ on-site requirements.

In addition, Jewson has been granted a five-year lease over premises situated at Pinewood Studios and Shepperton Studios, and is acquiring goods and employees previously owned and employed by Pinewood.

The builders merchant was selected due to the flexibility of its services, and will be offering on-site Jewson branches as well as a dedicated team.

Pinewood and Shepperton studios are one of the world’s leading destinations for the makers of film, television, commercials and video games. The building materials provided will be used in a variety of ways to support set building for the screen industries.
