Jackson Building Centres have just opened a brand new hire centre at on of their branches as evidence of their continued investment throughout the East Midlands and Yorkshire.
The centre, at the company’s Sleaford branch in Lincolnshire, opened earlier this month and stocks an extensive range of hire equipment to suit everyone from the professional tradesman to the DIY enthusiast.
Jackson Group Hire Centre manager, Mark Shepherd said the developments at the Sleaford branch were part of a £1m investment by the company to increase hire trade, which has also recently included the purchase of a new plant and access hire customer service vehicle.
“The demand for hire equipment is growing all the time and so it’s important that we reflect that demand. The new hire centre is a welcome addition to the existing facilities at our Lincoln branch and it is already making a huge difference to our customers,” said Mr Shepherd.
Meanwhile, Jacksons are preparing for a run with a difference as, for the second year running, staff have signed up to take part in the Santa Fun Run.
The run, organised by the Rotary Club, takes place on Sunday December 16 in Castle Square, Lincoln, and aims to raise money for the Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire Air Ambulance & St Barnabas Hospice.
Jacksons marketing manager Colin Bartleet said: “The Santa run is always really good fun and it’s a really nice way for staff at Jackson’s branches to get together and to join in the festive spirit, whilst at the same time helping to raise money for these two deserving charities.
“I think the staff taking part are already enjoying a bit of competitive banter about who will beat their personal best finishing times, all be it dressed as Santas!”
