This year’s Patrick Gilboy New Employee of The Year Award has been won by Daniel Todd of Jackson’s Skegness branch. Daniel works as a plumbing and heating sales assistant, where he is responsible for looking after the buying families for the plumbing and heating department. During his short time with the company Daniel has also attained distinction grades in all his Builder’s Merchants Federation (BMF) Open Learning Modules.

Steven Peet of Jackson’s Gainsborough branch was the winner of The Nick Grewcock Management Trainee of The Year Award. Steven joined Jackson as a management trainee and during his time with the company he has shown real initiative by completing a project to reduce the costs to the branch of collected returns from customers.

Joint managing director Simon Jackson said: “I would like to congratulate both Daniel and Steven and indeed all those members of staff nominated for this year’s awards. Their interest and eagerness to succeed with the company has really shone through and I wish them well in their future careers.”

Daniel and Steven were both awarded with a trophy and a cheque for £500.
