International Timber supplied the project’s contractors, House to a Home, with a selection of their White Oak laminated MDF, set to be used for desks and lounge units in the houses.

Tony Miles, International Timber managing director, said: “It’s been great to support such a fantastic cause, and we were exceptionally pleased to give back to those who have given to their country.”

The project saw a frenzied finish, with volunteers working through the weekend to get it completed by the deadline. Meeting the veterans face-to-face and seeing the impact their work has had first-hand was an emotional, but fulfilling experience for International Timber.
