Inter-Line Building Supplies completes kayak challenge

Employees and customers of independent Devon builders merchant Inter-Line Supplies kayaked from Totnes Town Centre to the Lifeboat Station at Brixham to raise money for the station.

It’s a gruelling 20 mile challenge consisting of 10 miles down the tidal stretch of the fast flowing River Dart and 10 miles around the hazardous South Devon Coast culminating in rounding Berry Head before reaching Brixham.

The target was to raise a minimum of £3,000 in donations; a total of £5,000 has so far been raised.

Fakro GB was the main sponsor of the event; other suppliers sponsored kit for the day and gave generous donations to the cause.

Inter-Line has sponsored the Torbay Lifeboat since 2010 and has raised £15,000 so far.
