Impey Reinforces its market position with new product offerings

Impey offers a selection of leak-free wet room solutions, designed and produced in the UK. Compatible with British homes and building regulations, Impey specialises in floor formers, waterproofing products, underfloor heating options, drainage and glass shower screens.

Their drainage options come in a contemporary range of 4mm thick stainless steel grates, available in four styles: Stamp, Identity, Grid and Fibre.

The new tiled insert for the linear drainage grate offers the option for the chosen wetroom tiles to form the cover of the drainage grate, giving a continuous polished finished.

The new Aqua-Screen X range incorporates 10mm toughened safety glass and the safe and strong design can be used in single or multi-panel combinations. Benefitting from Aqua-Shield Easy Clean Finish and a Lifetime Watertight Guarantee, screens are available in plain, satin or modesty glass.

Pioneered by Impey, unique and patented Aqua-Dec technology is an efficient way to create a gradient for effective drainage. With the strength and rigidity to support up to 300KG (47 stones) it negates the need for under-boarding.

The Impey Waterguard system is a tanking membrane providing a faster and easier method of leak-free tanking. It has now been further improved to offer 10mm decoupling properties and full use on walls.

Co-Polymer membrane with a butyl rubber backing ensures it is completely watertight and a polypropylene surface provides a key for the tile adhesive. The Waterguard system is self-adhesive, supplied on a roll for easy application and offers pre-made corners.

To support its new products, Impey has also invested heavily in a new literature launch and new in-store point of sale strategy. Brand literature including a brochure will offer solutions, advice and information about wetroom technology and a breakdown of the installation processes.

John Blackburn, UK Group managing director, said: “A focus on innovation and a clear strategy for the advancement of the Impey brand and its product offering is paramount to our success. Investment in research, development and design has been and, will continue to be, a focal point for the business, allowing us to strengthen and develop our position in the wetroom marketplace.

“Our recent brand research confirms that installers and specifiers consider Impey products to be of excellent quality, easy to install and the most innovative brand in the market place.

“Since joining the company 18 months ago I have worked with the team towards refreshing and reinvigorating the Impey brand. Everyone has worked tirelessly to research, design, and bring to market some of the most significant wetroom advancements seen in the industry. We are immeasurably proud of the ground-breaking products we have been able to launch, which I have no doubt will take the market by storm.”

The brochure highlights and beautifully illustrates options for wetrooms in smaller rooms, creative spaces, family bathrooms, luxury properties, high-end commercial situations, contemporary homes, period/classic properties and bespoke solutions.

The new Impey Luxury Wetroom Brochure will be available online and in stores from December 2015.

Impey is attending KBB Birmingham 2016 from 6 – 9 March at the NEC. On the stand visitors will be able to see a selection of Impey’s outstanding wetroom products and find out more about the wetroom installation process.
