Imperial Bricks now an official supplier to FORTIS

Imperial Bricks, the leading supplier of traditional handmade bricks to the UK merchant market, is now an approved supplier to all members of the FORTIS independent merchant buying group.

With a 20% increase in business growth year on year, Imperial credits this success to a surge in demand for reclamation-style bricks. The traditional handmade brick market has grown rapidly over the last ten years. With Imperial now offering a range of 50+ traditional handmade, wirecut, waterstruck and pressed bricks, builders’ merchants are placed to benefit from this unique offering. More recently, Imperial introduced seven varieties of metric waterstruck bricks, ideal for new builds using metric lintel and block measurements.

Jason Hughes, Managing Director, comments: “We’re delighted to have the opportunity to trade with FORTIS members, offering them traditional handmade bricks, regionally-matched to their area. Our Merchant Team is always out on the road, whether it’s delivering samples for a new brick library and POS displays or helping with a brick match.

“We look forward to working with existing customers who are FORTIS members, as well as engaging with new members to show how stocking traditional handmade bricks can add value to their business.”
