Ideal Bathrooms acquisition

Ideal Bathrooms have announced the acquisition of Glasgow-based bathroom products distributor Inline Distribution.
The move allows the company to expand its customer base in Scotland as well as improving service and delivery levels to existing customers, as Inline Distribution has geographical coverage from the outer islands to the Scottish border.

“The acquisition is the perfect strategic fit with Ideal Bathrooms” said Ideal Bathrooms managing director Martin Carroll “The acquisition gives us the opportunity to greatly increase the group’s business in Scotland, working closely with new and existing customers and we will be investing substantially in new central systems, improving and extending warehouse facilities and increasing stockholding.

“This is the first acquisition in our ambitious strategy for growth and follows substantial investment in our new distribution hub in Middlesex as well as the recent sales force expansion, all of which is geared to maintaining and improving our services to our customer,” added Carroll.

Inline Distribution will continue to trade under the same name and the family management will continue the day-to-day running of the business.
