Icopal, manufacturers of building and structural waterproofing, have welcomed Andrew Lawton as their new managing director. Lawton brings over 20 years’ construction experience to the team.
Lawton was previously vice president of Building, Construction & Agriculture at Polymer Group Incorporated, responsible for long term strategic and profitability development, including marketing, products development and sales.
He has also held the positions of sales and marketing director at Sandtoft Rooftiles Limited and head of commercial and export sales at NSG Pilkington Building Products.
Lawton joins Icopal at an exciting point, having just been acquired by GAF, North America’s largest roofing manufacturer.
The new managing director commented: “As a strong brand name in the waterproofing sector, Icopal is a great company to join. I am looking forward to leading the major supplier into its new era with GAF and continuing to grow business sales, product ranges and applications.”
