Huws Gray team runs on for Hope House

The running team from Welsh builders merchants Huws Gray successfully completed the Chester Half Marathon last week (May 17).

The team included Gethin Jones (Truss Design & Manufacturing), Dafydd Hughes (Marketing), Kevin Owen (Dolgellau), Patrick McKeown (Rhuddlan branch) and Daniel Farrell who supported the team from Crime Prevention Services (Chester).

There were some impressive finishing times with two of the team members completing the race in course in less than 1 hour 30 minutes. They raised over £400 for Hope House Children’s Hospice.

Hope House Children’s Hospices provide specialist nursing care and support to life-limited children, young people and young adults from Shropshire, Cheshire, North and Mid Wales.

Huws Gray have more fundraising events organised throughout 2015 such as zip-wire, sky dive and bike challenges to raise essential funding their dedicated charities for 2015.
