Huws Gray engineers investment in timber

Independent builders merchant Huws Gray has invested in a 40,000 sq. ft production site in Bangor, to complement its existing Timber Engineering plant in Welshpool.

The investment will more than double the company’s operational capacity.

Osian Jones, area manager for Huws Gray Timber Engineering says: “We are very optimistic about the expansion of this division of the business. We are confident that we can service any customers Timber engineering requirements, by offering a complete solution that is fully managed in-house.” He went on to say, “We have decades of experience within the teams based at both sites and state of the art machinery to deliver the highest specification on products.”

In addition to the investment of the new site and vehicles, the company has already started recruiting roles to support the expansion and increased production, with further job opportunities being created in the coming 12 months.
