HSE launches 2011 ladder exchange

The Health & Safety Executive has launched a new Ladder Exchange scheme to provide an easy and simple way to replace broken, damaged or bent ladders and trade them in for safe new ones.

Since its launch, the Ladder Exchange programme has resulted in over 8,000 dodgy ladders being removed from use.

This year’s programme runs for three months from today (September 1) November 30.

Among the businesses taking part are A1 Sales & Hire, A-Plant, Globe Ladders, HSS Hire, Ladderstore.com, Speedy Hire and TB Davies.
