Hot stuff from Garador

Garador have launched their brand new FrontGuard Plus range of entrance doors. Along with contemporary styles, the FrontGuard Plus range is about thermal performance and energy-saving.

Hot stuff from Garador

Each FrontGuard Plus door features water-proof rubber seals on all four sides of the panel, keeping rain and wind outside. The door leaf is filled with 65mm thick high-density polyurethane foam, providing better thermal efficiency with overall U-Values down to0.81 W/m2k. The door is constructed around an aluminium frame, which has a thermal break and insulating polyurethane foam built into it to further minimise heat loss.

FrontGuard Plus doors can be fitted to open inwards or outwards, and for added privacy, some of the Contemporary range models have been designed without windows. Doors in the Modern range have been engineered with subtle windows to maintain privacy, whilst still allowing light in. They feature anti shatter glass, in a sand-blasted float glazed effect. All doors are available in a range of colours and wood effect finishes, and come with three-way adjustable hinges. A five-point security locking system comes as standard on all doors, for added peace of mind.

Simon Hipgrave, Garador’s managing director, said: “We wanted to create a breakthrough in the design of front doors to provide new functionality together with great new looks and simple installation.

“Our FrontGuard Plus range exceeds our expectations on all fronts and offers the ultimate in front doors for conventional domestic builds.”
