Heatline launches new heat loss calculator

The heat loss calculator allows the installer, stockiest or architects to enter key information including the size of the rooms, the flow rate, the type of boiler or renewable source used, and the type of material the property is built from.

It then provides the correct sizes of radiators required for that particular property as well as prepaing a bill of materials complete with all relevant Heatline product stock codes, making life much easier for the stockist.

Mark Derbyshire, Heatline’s commercial director, said: “Radiators can sometimes be overlooked when central heating systems are updated but if they are incorrectly sized, poorly installed or inadequately maintained they can drastically reduce the efficiency of the system and potentially even cause lasting damage to a new boiler. Our new heat loss calculator simplifies the design and specification process and is a useful tool for installers who are assessing heating systems for their customers.
