Heating Installer awards celebrates 5th year

Entries are now open for the industry famous Heating Installer Awards, which has returned for a fifth year as the competition once again searches for the best plumbing and heating installers in the UK. Designed to champion the heroes of the industry who often go unnoticed, the awards recognise installers who go to great lengths to deliver incredible levels of service and the highest quality installations for their customers.

This year, there are more chances to win than ever before as the Heating Installer Awards has launched two brand new categories. The ‘Rising Star’ award has been created especially for budding apprentices to recognise those who are still in training but are already working hard to achieve high standards, whilst the ‘Most Sustainable’ Installer category helps to recognise those who are doing everything they can to minimise the impact of their work on the environment.

Supported by Danfoss, Glow-worm, Polypipe and Stelrad, the awards are completely free to enter and give installers the chance to showcase their work to potential customers. What’s more, there is a prize bundle worth over £10,000 on offer for the finalists, including a trip to Denmark for the national winner.

After entries close in February, an expert judging panel made up of industry professionals and installers will choose nine regional finalists as well as an initial shortlist for the two new categories. The overall winners will then be decided by a combination of judges’ scores, peer reviewed technical challenges and a public vote, with the two category winners plus the national winner and runner up announced at Installer2020, where 2019 champion, Tony Dumble, will hand over his crown.

To enter, plumbers and heating installers should visit www.heatinginstallerawards.co.uk and fill in the short entry form. Or if you prefer, give the awards team a call on 0161 8711188 and they’d be happy to take your entry over the phone.
