Employees at boiler maker Baxi’s award-winning heateam call-centre got a shock when they found their picture on huge advertising hoardings outside their Coventry Road offices.
The photo had been taken to use for posters and advertising to celebrate heateam’s achievement in the 2010 Top 50 Call Centres for Customer Service.
Customer service director, Lee Robinson said: “We were so proud of our team when we discovered that we had been ranked seventh in the country, and was the number one heating company, beating some of the UK’s best known brands, that we literally wanted to shout about it from the roof tops!”
Alan Spiers has been with the company for 29 years, and is featured on the poster. “I had to do a double take when I saw the poster. We knew the pictures would be used in the trade press but never dreamt we’d see ourselves up on a billboard like that! My little grandson made his mum take a photo when he saw his me up there!”
heateam, Baxi’s in-house customer contact centre, is based in Warwick and is open 363 days a year. It provides customer support and service for Baxi, Potterton, Main and Remeha boiler brands, Heatrae Sadia and Santon hot water products and Baxi, Valor and Wonderfire fires.
