Heart Wood is Dulux’s colour of the Year

Paint brand Dulux has named its new shade Heart Wood as Collour of the Year 2018.

The colour was revealed alongside key colour predictions for 2018 as part of the brand’s trend forecast, ColourFutures^TM, now in its 15^th year.

Every year, Dulux Trade’s parent company AkzoNobel brings together a panel of international experts from various disciplines of design to develop ColourFutures™, the brand’s trend analysis and forecast.

Denim Drift, the Colour of the Year for 2017, has been the manufacturer’s third bestselling shade.

The Colour of the Year palette reflects the importance of cosy wooden tones and since blue remains so fundamental, the colour collection flows beautifully from this year into next. The nourishing warmth of wood and tactile comfort of leather add to this sense of harmony
