h&b group expands with five more

Independent builders merchant buying group h&b has taken on five new merchant members.

h&b group expands with five more

The group now has 74 companies, across the country.

The new members are:

Henshaws Roofing Supplies, Urmston, Manchester,

BDL Construction

Supplies’ Tibshelf, Derbyshire,

Greengates Builders Merchants in Accrington,

Forward Builders’ Supplies Ltd in Ellesmere Port

Peppard Building Supplies, based in Reading.

Henshaws is currently in the process of expanding into general building products and founder George Henshaw says: “We are delighted with our membership which means we can continue our expansion plans and meet the challenges ahead with renewed confidence.”

Co-owner of BDL Construction Paul Beaman is re-joining the buying group he joined when md of former member UGS. He says: “From my previous experience it was always the only choice to help us expand and increase the product range we offer.”
