Hansgrohe goes to Ecobuild with EcoSmart technology

Hansgrohe, the shower and bathroom specialist, will use its Ecobuild stand to show its commitment to its “More Pleasure, Less Consumption” ethos at Hansgrohe with a working display unit where the performance and flow rates of various Hansgrohe models can be tested with and without EcoSmart technology.

Products will include the Crometta and Croma shower families and the Raindance EcoSmart AIR collection with versions to suit every possible installation. Fixed overhead showers, hand showers and showerpipes with head diameters ranging from 100mm to 240mm are guaranteed to please in terms of both style and showering enjoyment. Water consumption is around 9 litres per minute (at 3 bar) compared with up to 18 litres per minute in the non-EcoSmart versions.

In addition to water-saving fittings, Hansgrohe will also demonstrate how you can use water twice with their Pontos AquaCycle. This indoor grey water recycling system takes water from the shower, bath and sink and recycles it for flushing toilets and urinals, cleaning, washing clothes and watering gardens. The product is modular with systems that have processing capacities of up to 12,000 litres per day.

This allows AquaCycle to be tailored to the needs of various projects including hotels and commercial enterprises.
