Guide to the Galaxy

The Aqua range of instantaneous electric showers from Galaxy, showcased at KBB, is designed to help installers overcome issues such as low water pressure and hard water.

The range includes functional units such as the Aqua 1000, right through to the latest addition, the Aqua 9000.

The Aqua 9000 XP (pictured) provides the convenience of an electric instantaneous shower, being simply connected to a cold-water gravity-fed header tank system. Available in 8.5kw and 9.5kw versions, with a choice of four ‘power selector’ settings, six different spray options and a unique ‘stop’ button that enables phased shut down (with an illuminated pulsating indicator when active), the Aqua 9000 delivers an invigorating showering experience whilst still remaining energy efficient and only heating the amount of water required.

Galaxy has also created variants of the Aqua 3000 and 4000 to incorporate full Scalemaster scale protection. The heating element within the Aqua 3000si and 4000si has been specially coated to prevent particle build-up and an inbuilt electrolytic inhibitor helps flush the harmful limescale crystals through the system.

“These product features are just a couple of examples of how the financial backing of the Glen Dimplex Group has enabled significant investment in product development so that Galaxy can offer the installer an impressive range of fit-and-forget products,” comments Galaxy’s Keith Bevan.
