Grant UK has announced the appointment of Kevin Ellis as Divisional Sales Manager, covering the South, the Midlands and Wales. The appointment further increases the level of coverage that the Grant UK Sales Managers can offer throughout England, Scotland and Wales.
Ellis started his 17 year career in the heating industry as an engineer, fitting Grant oil boilers for the Ministry of Defense. During this time, he also gained experience with renewable technologies working with biomass, air source heat pumps, as well as solar thermal.
From here, Ellis became a merchant branch manager, predominantly focusing on the renewable sector and assisting with renewable projects from design through to product knowledge. Most recently, Kevin has been working for a manufacturer specialising in heat pumps, further developing his breadth of experience in the heating sector.
With Grant UK, he will be sharing his in-depth knowledge of both renewables and oil boilers with engineers, merchants and others, specifically working with the Grant Aerona³ inverter driven air source heat pump range. It is a very exciting time for the company following the launch of the Grant VortexAir oil boiler/ air source heat pump hybrid, and this September sees the Vortex oil boiler range expand with the launch of six new Boiler House models.
He joins the sales team of Stewart Ratcliff, Alan Brooke, Gareth Farr and John Morris on the road, visiting merchants and installers and assisting them with their off-gas heating needs.
