Builders Merchants Journal – BMJ Publishing to Builders Merchants and the UK merchanting industry for more than 95 years
David Gledhill, formerly managing director of Graham the Plumbers’ Merchant, has taken up the same post at bathroom distributor Ideal Bathrooms.
Gledhill joins Ideal Bathrooms, part of Saint Gobain UK & Ireland and sister company to Graham, with over 35 years’ experience in the merchant and distribution sectors.
He said: “Having worked with Ideal Bathrooms in my previous role, I have a strong knowledge of the products and suppliers, but equally importantly, I have the right industry connections.
“The business is in great shape and I’m eager to explore how this can be taken to the next level. I’m keen to face up to challenges in the marketplace, including the changing nature of customer purchasing behaviour, to help Ideal Bathrooms evolve.”
