Graham go green

Plumbing and bathroom merchant Graham have opened their first ‘sustainable’ branch, close to their headquarters in Binley.

Graham go green

Located on Coventry Business Park, the 4,200sq ft branch has a high efficiency boiler to heat the premises and solar panels to heat water.

Graham have also installed heat harvesters to balance room temperature and which reduce energy consumption by 35%-50%. Rainwater harvesters supply water to the toilets and for general maintenance.

However, sustainable solutions aren’t the only changes. A new ‘self service’ layout has been designed specifically for the branch to ensure clear visibility and access.

Plus, instead of installing a typical trade counter at the branch, Graham have installed service pods. These allow staff to assist customers all around the branch before moving to the nearest customer service pod to complete the transaction.
