Specialist sealant applicators Swiftseal has applied over 68,000 metres of sealant on 48 tram stops as part of the extension of Manchester Metrolink to Manchester Airport, Didsbury, Oldham and Rochdale Town Centre and Ashton-Under-Lyne.
Geocel 260 Ultra fast curing sealant was used to seal the floor joints at the tram stops. Geocel 260 is a pouring grade, two component polyurethane based sealant that provides a high strength, permanently flexible joint which cures to Shore A hardness of 60.
