GAP delivers 21% growth in first quarter

Sales have shot up by more than a fiifth for the PVC-U supplier thanks to online ordering and an expansion of the company’s fleet of vehicles
Latest figures from GAP, the UK’s largest independent PVC-U stockists, show sales growing 21% overall year on year in the first quarter.

Sales in April increased 25% year on year, and May looks to be on track to achieve similar growth, say the company.

The figures were buoyed by the launch of GAP’s online ordering service, the growth of their sub stockist network and an increase in the number of vehicles. New initiatives planned for later this year include a training centre for customers and a new central warehouse in Blackburn, designed to improve stock availability.
