Future Olympic hopeful receives boost from RGB

RGB Building Supplies is sponsoring an up and coming target pistol shooter, helping him to further his career and pursue his ambition to represent Great Britain at both the Olympic and Commonwealth Games.

Chris Glover, 16, is currently studying for his A’ Levels at Petroc’s Barnstaple campus in North Devon. He began pistol shooting in 2012 and whilst representing the Devon Scout Team at the Scout Inter County competition, caught the eye of the Great Britain Junior Pistol Squad.

Most recently, Glover represented Great Britain in the Junior International competition, which took place at the home of UK shooting in Bisley, Surrey.

Rob Allen, operations manager at RGB Building Supplies, said: “We fully recognise that young sportsmen and women face a number of challenges in pursuing their sporting ambitions and it’s important to us to support talented people local to us.
