Further growth for builders merchant Huws Gray

Independent builders merchant Huws Gray has acquired two new branches in Wales.

Further growth for builders merchant Huws Gray

The two, at Bow Street near Aberystwyth and Llandrindod Wells, previously traded as Build Center, and were acquired from Jewson as part of its agreement with the Office of Fair Trading following the acquisition of Build Center in late 2011.

These additions give Huws Gray a portfolio of 41 trading locations.

Following the acquisition of Llanidloes Building Supplies in March, the Llandrindod Wells branch is Huws Gray’s second in Powys.

The branch at Bow Street near Aberystwyth is its first location in Ceredigion, and strengthens the Cambrian Coast presence following the opening of a brand-new branch in Porthmadog and the acquisition of J & B Willbrook in Dyffryn Ardudwy.
