Frank Key buys Builders Centre (Sheffield)

Independent Nottingham-based builders merchant Frank Key Group Limited bought The Builders Centre (Sheffield) Limited on Thursday (March 14).

Frank Key was founded in 1907 and has sites across Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire, providing a range of products and services, including building materials, landscaping, tool and skip hire, kitchens and bathrooms, timber, doors and joinery.

The Builders Centre is a subsidiary of The Dyson Group Plc, which owns several companies in the building and engineering sectors.

The purchase of The Builders Centre will complement and enhance the existing service Frank Key provides to customers. Both Frank Key and the Builders Centre are members of the National Buying Group and had a strong relationship prior to the acquisition.
