Falcon achieves BM TRADA ‘heavyweight’ Q-Mark

Falcon Panel Products has achieved the BM TRADA Q-Mark for the Enhanced Lifetime Performance of Doors Scheme for its Strebord door cores.
The scheme is based on sister company Chiltern Dynamics’ Classification for Service Life Test Programme CDTM01 and provides the first step for any doorset fabricators who use the Falcon ‘Strebord’ core to become certified themselves for the complete doorset.

The CDTMO1 test criteria were developed so that manufacturers and fabricators can determine the performance potential of their doorsets. The Q-Mark Enhanced Lifetime Performance of Doors Scheme goes further, allowing manufacturers to show that, as well as passing the test, through regular audits of the manufacturing process the products and processes from each fabricator are maintained in line with the tested and approved products.
